The next thing to do is promote the ebook and make those sales.
I make sales in a number of ways:
Google adwords
Articles
Forums
Let's look firstly at adwords. This is where you can have an advert that appears in the first page of Google when certain keywords are searched. For example, my home schooling ebook advert appears when people
search for "homeschooling".
What you first need to do is compile a list of keywords for your ebook.
The best place to look is to visit these keywords sites:
http://tools.seobook.com/
http://www.keyworddiscovery.
https://adwords.google.com/
Once you have 10 - 20 good keywords that people are using to search the particular subject your ebook is based on, you need to open a Google adwords account.
Simple go to: https://adwords.google.co.uk/
Most of my sales come from Google adwords, I spend £10.00 per day on each ebook promotion and I receive between 10 - 20 orders. Each ebook is priced between £19.97 and £77.00, and with over 20 different ebooks being promoted, you can see I make a very healthy weekly income.
Promoting your ebook using articles is another good way to attract customers.
I place articles at www.ezinearticles.com and www.searchwarp.com
What I do is write a short article about each of my ebooks subjects. It will explain the subject in a basic way and at the end I will add my link to my ebook sales page.
My articles are between 350 and 450 words long. I will usually mention the keywords about 3 or 4 times throughout the article. I have experimented with having several combinations of keywords throughout an article and have found that sticking to one keyword phrase works the best - for example: "teach your child at home" or
"homeschooling".
Using articles brings in a number of orders a week and is well worth the effort as once the article is written I just leave it and people will come to my site any time of the day.
The third way to promote your ebook is using forums.
Look for forums that cover your ebook's subject. Register with the forum and in your signature add your sales page address.
Again this brings in a good number of orders from people who are actively interested in the ebook subject.
For example, I have an ebook on British films and how to invest in them. I post messages on a couple of forums that cover this subject and I receive approx 3 orders per week for my ebook. Considering this ebook costs £77.00, it certainly is worth my while contributing to the forum.
Note: These five FREE posts about Making Money are all from a series sent out by ROBERT EVANS.
I am on the 20 lesson course from Robert Evans - and these free lessons just show how easy it is to make money. The 20 lessons show me far more ways and go into things in much more depth.
Not bad for £97!
